Last weekend we celebrated Nanny’s 60th Birthday! We had a packed weekend, with great food (Pappas Bros. Steakhouse), new furniture (thanks to Ikea) and lots of fun! Nanny likes to say that now she can act like two 30 year-olds, and we think she pulls it off pretty well the way she keeps up with our active girls! Papa does a great job, too, and the girls can’t get enough of him. Thanks, Nanny and Papa!

The week after Christmas we travelled to Memphis to visit the Rosebrocks. The cousins had a great time playing, and we had a great time relaxing.

We spent Saturday afternoon in Round Top.

And saw the crazy big (for being in the middle of small town TX) theatre at Festival Hill.

There was a big Nutcracker play (sold out) that was going on that evening so we were fortunate to sneak in and take a peek.
