Anna’s 2nd was back on February 28th. It was a quiet affair with just Nanny and Nonna down to visit.

Easter came so quickly that we lost March along the way. But we had a great weekend together celebrating the most meaningful event in History!

April definitely had it’s fair share of birthday celebrations (of course Aurélie’s and mine).
Helene’s friend Carolina had a party that was extra special with dressing up, makeup and all the girlie works.

Our good friends the Raymers have all 4 of their birthdays in April! So our girls and theirs had their first sleepover. Aurélie made it extra special. We had dinner outside, smores for dessert, and lots of front yard play. The girls also got to stay up and watch a movie!

Ella Rose Raymer’s bounce Party was a blast!

Helene received Natalie’s old camera for her 4th birthday and has been taking pictures off and on now for a few months. Let’s take a look at her progression.
Lesson 1: Get that thumb out of the way!

Lesson 2: You need to point where you’re looking.

Better.

Trigger happy train aerial.

Portrait gone wrong.

Anna or a doll? You guesss.

Centered, Yes! But still not high enough.

Blair Witch influence? (she didn’t watch it with me!)

Nice Effect!

Crazed self-portrait.

Camera shy Henry.

Helene chasing Henry as he runs away with her camera.

Ditto.

Seeing Helene and Anna enjoy reading so much makes me feel like rewarding them with something. But what?

Maybe I can do something like David Crowder does for his fans that read all the liner notes on their albums to find a special link. I’d have to make a movie like this.
Both Helene and Anna are going to gymnastics now and Anna has really taken to it! She is so small out there even among her peers but she can do all they can and more.
Anna crawling out of the pit

Helene clings patiently to the wall, while watching Anna on the trapeze.

Anna loves hanging best!
